Conference Chairs

Jean-Christophe Monbaliu
University of Liège, Belgium
Jean-Christophe M. Monbaliu is Professor of Organic Chemistry at the University of Liège, Belgium, where he founded the Center for Integrated Technology and Organic Synthesis (CiTOS) in 2013. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Université catholique de Louvain (2008) and held postdoctoral positions at Ghent University, the University of Florida, and MIT. His research focuses on continuous flow and micro/mesofluidic technologies for sustainable and bio-based processes toward high-value molecules. He also launched FloW4all, a Wallonia-based flow technology platform, and has served as Associate Editor of the Journal of Flow Chemistry since 2019.

Anna Slater
University of Liverpool, United Kingdom
Professor Anna Slater is a Royal Society University Research Fellow and Professor of Chemistry at the University of Liverpool, UK. She obtained her PhD in supramolecular chemistry from the University of Nottingham, followed by postdoctoral work on porphyrin self-assembly and porous organic materials. Her research focuses on molecular materials, supramolecular chemistry, and enabling technologies such as automation and continuous flow, aiming to improve control, reproducibility, and scalability in synthesis. She also serves as Director of Research & Impact for the School of Physical Sciences and is active in equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
